I started my YouTube channel as a way to share my passion with the world. I had been researching how others had been having success, so I wanted to give it a try. But what I didn’t know until later was that filming yourself on camera isn’t just about making something worth watching — it’s also about creating an experience that other people want to watch.

That’s why today, in addition to sharing videos on fun facts being posted on my channel: because they’re fun! So if you want your own faceless YouTube channel or blog but aren’t sure where to start? Here are some tips from someone who knows all about starting one…

Create a game plan for what you want to do on your YouTube channel before you start.

If you’re new to creating videos, chances are that you don’t have a game plan in place for your channel and may be wondering what exactly one is.

A game plan is simply a written or mental outline of what you want to accomplish with your YouTube channel and how you will go about achieving those goals. It acts as a roadmap that guides your direction through the creation process from start to finish.

In order for this roadmap (or game plan) not just to exist, but also work effectively for you, it needs to be tailored specifically toward YOU and YOUR GOALS for this channel.

It’s fine to film things as you go, but try to get a few videos filmed ahead of time in case you need to take time off from filming.

It’s also important to think about how you want your audience to feel when they watch your videos, and what emotions you want to evoke.

I recommend shooting things as best you can while in the moment, but always try to get a few videos filmed ahead of time in case you need to take time off from filming (like if the weather is bad or there’s an event happening).

If none of that works, then there are two other options:

  • Use video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X (which I used on my channel) so that it looks more polished and professional than just recording with your phone or camera; this will also allow you to add music/sound effects and titles/credits at the end of each video if needed.
  • Shoot all of your footage beforehand then edit all of it together into one seamless video using one of these programs so everything seems seamless from start-to-finish even though it wasn’t filmed all at once.”

Create a focused schedule for uploading content

You’ve got to have a schedule for what you want to do. I recommend that you create a plan for the amount of time and content you want to produce.

It’s important that you know what your goals are before getting started with this project. It’s easy to get lost in the details, so it’s good practice to start by having a clear idea of what your focus is going to be on any given day or week.

I also recommend having a few videos filmed ahead of time just in case there are times when life gets in the way and takes away from filming (which has happened many times).

Don’t be afraid to promote your channel a little bit

Don’t be afraid to promote your channel a little bit. Don’t spam people, but don’t be afraid to ask for help from other YouTubers or members of the community. If you are really interested in learning more about creating content, I highly recommend joining the Faceless YouTube Community Discord. It’s a great place to ask questions and get advice from other creators.

The video I created was far from perfect and there were many things I’d do differently if I could go back in time, but overall it was an incredible learning experience that helped me grow as a creator and gave me confidence in my future projects.

Make sure each video has a clear purpose and direction

You can’t create a faceless channel without clearly defining what you want to achieve. If there’s no clear purpose or direction, your viewers will be confused and your engagement will suffer.

Your first task is to answer these questions: Why am I making videos? What do I hope to gain from it? How will this help me reach my goals? If you’re not sure what kind of content would work best for you, start by researching similar channels that appeal to the same audience as yours.

Once you take a look at their videos and analyze them closely, ask yourself how they differ from one another in terms of style, length and tone. Once again, refer back to the three questions above, this time about how each video relates specifically to its creator’s personal brand identity and think about how those attributes relate specifically here too.

Invest in the right gear and editing tools so your videos look professional and polished

One of the most challenging parts of creating a YouTube channel is making sure that your videos look professional and polished. The quality of your production is going to make or break how people perceive you, so it’s important to invest in the right gear and editing tools for this purpose. Here are some tips:

  • Invest in good lighting
  • Buy a nice microphone (I use an Audio-Technica AT2020)
  • Use a tripod or steady cam so that your shots aren’t shaky
  • Don’t forget to edit! I use Adobe Premiere Pro because it’s easy to learn but also powerful enough for me, who has no formal training as a video editor.

Finding success as a faceless YouTuber is about making videos others want to watch

The key to success as a faceless YouTuber is to make videos that people want to see. You have to focus on what you can do best, and then do it well. Make sure you are passionate about your niche and have some knowledge about it as well.

Conclusion

In the end, it’s about the quality of your content and how much people want to watch it. If you don’t have an audience yet, then start building one by making videos that speak to them and find out what they like. Then keep putting out more of those types of videos until you’ve built a following around your channel that lasts. Hope this helps you.
